The Required Documentation
For Your Building
A Fire Safety Plan is a required document under the BC Fire Code for most commercial and multi-residential buildings. It outlines emergency procedures, the roles and responsibilities of building staff, the location of fire protection equipment, and evacuation procedures for occupants.
Without an up-to-date plan, your building may fail inspection and be subject to enforcement action from the Fire Commissioner's Office.
